Membership benefit
Members of the Network will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in programs specifically designed to enhance women’s professional capacity and legal knowledge;
- Develop working relationships with other female legal professionals in the region;
- Play an active role in raising awareness of women’s rights at all levels through collaboration with fellow members of the Network;
- Strengthen the position of women in the legal field through mutual support and alliances;
- Contribute to a legal journal published periodically;
- Support future generations of women in the law through participation in a mentoring and fellowship program; and
- Network with legal experts from the region and abroad.
Membership Criteria
An Active Member must satisfy the following conditions:
1. Holds Arab country nationality and enjoys all her civic rights.
2. Works in a legal domain in an Arab country and/or holds a university degree in law.
3. Must be of good standing.
4. Is not less than (21) years old at the date of application for membership.
5. Is committed to fulfilling the ِNetwork goals.
6. Has paid the membership fee.
7. Has certified in the signed application that she has read and agreed to abide by the Articles of Association of the ِNetwork, and that she meets the qualifications for membership.
Honorary Members
Any person fulfilling one or more of the conditions stipulated above may become an Honorary Member of the Network subject to the approval of the Executive Board, which has sole power to set the time period of honorary membership. Honorary Members may neither vote in elections nor be nominated for election to the Executive Board.
